Registration​​

1. National Delegate

   Local delegates who have earned Bachelor, Master or PhD degree AND are currently working in university, research institutes, industry in Malaysia (including Post Doctoral fellows/students).

2. Student

   This category is applicable to full-time students from both local and overseas universities (except Post Doctoral fellows/students). Note that proof of student status (offer letter with duration of studentship specified) will be required at the time of registration.

3. International Delegate

   International delegates who have earned Bachelor, Master or PhD degree AND are currently working in university, research institutes, national laboratory, industry beyond Malaysia (including Post Doctoral fellows/students). .
   * Reference: USD Conversion Rate, 1 USD = 4.2 MYR (Subjected to exchange rate fluctuations)

Registration Entitlements

Registration Fee listed above is for one (1) participant and includes:

• Admission to all conference sessions
• Registration of a maximum of two (2) abstract/presentation (limited to one oral presentation and one poster presentation)
• Discount for grand launch of ICEM 2023

Important Notes to All Authors and Presenters

(Including Symposium Keynote and Invited Speakers)

• All authors who are presenting at ICEM 2021 will have to complete the full payment and registration latest by 30 September 2021, in order for their presentation to be scheduled in the conference programme.
• Each registration is only meant for one (1) person to attend ICEM 2021.
• Co-author(s) who are also attending ICEM 2021 will need to register separately.
• Delegates from XMU, China will follow the registration fee for international.
• Group registration will be given a 10 % discount as a whole upon registration of min. 3 pax and above per group (must be within the same university/ institution) (Excluding keynote, invited speakers and observer)

Cancellation/Withdrawal Policy

• Cancellations should be made via email to ICEM 2021 secretariat (icem2021@xmu.edu.my) before the deadline.
• A 50 % refund will be made for cancellations received on or before 10 October 2021.
• A separate refund administrative fee of RM 150 will be imposed for each refund.
• There will be no refund for cancellation/withdrawal received after 10 October 2021.
• There will be no refund for paid registrants who did not attend the conference in person. The organizers will also not be mailing out conference publications or materials to such individuals.
• Please be informed that participants are entitled to seek for 100% refund in the event the that participants are not able to attend the conference due to country-imposed travel restrictions between 1 - 8 November 2021. However, proof of travel restrictions will need to be provided via email for the refund to be considered.
