Chairman's Welcome Message
On behalf of the organising committee, I would like to invite you to join us for the virtual (Soft Launch) of the 1st International Conference on Energy Materials (ICEM 2021), which will be held on 5-8 November 2021. Stay tuned for our grand launch in 2023!
This is the inaugural conference held in conjunction with the celebration on 5th Anniversary of XMUM and 100th Anniversary of Xiamen University (XMU, China), hosted by XMUM. It is also an exciting remembrance of XMU’s ranking at 16th among Chinese mainland universities and 62nd globally according to the 2020 Nature Index.
ICEM 2021 will be serve as an effective platform to stimulate discussions on the forefront of research in energy materials, deliberations on the theme "Empowering Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future".

Holding up the principle of "leaving no one behind", the General Assembly adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals including "Affordable and Clean Energy" (Goal No. 7) to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. Not to mention, our Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHA) and Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (NRE) Malaysia turns their unceasing supports towards clean and green energy into actions.
The conference will feature a diverse array of scientific talks to connect world-leading scientists, engineers, publishers, students, industry participants, entrepreneurs worldwide to share their research advances and yield symbiotic experience in the exciting and dynamic energy materials field.
